THE SLEEPER OF KEEP

I had a great time working on the sleeper keeper, the only problem was that we didn't have all the help we needed from the rest of the group. Which in the end hurt some things. I am proud of the work we did and it's unfortunate that it was knocked over by someone thus causing it to hurt our structure. :( but I'm glad we didn't give up when we had our difficulties.. especially on assembly day. It took allot of late nights throughout the week for us to meet our "schedule." I can say I learned allot from this project not only about the construction of a structure and that whole process, but about myself and others. I got to enjoy being inside the cabin and on top of the roof which is amazing. I definitely would have liked for it to stay up in front of Bemis for a little while longer. We wanted to donate the cabin to a homeless shelter but since it was ruined that won't happen. Overall, I think we did pretty good even though we left out some things and ran into some structural issues, such as our warped posts. It was a good experience and one i forget. it will be nice to watch the next year go through it and see what happens. even if you got credit for the class... i encourage you to take it.
