Going GREEN!! To the left is an image of the the "city's greenest building," the Queens Botanical Garden Visitor Center. The building, located in Flushing Queens, received the PLATINUM rating for LEED. For second year studio over spring break we had to chose a green building and do a building analysis on it on 11x17. this was the building I chose. Even though i didn't actually take a break spring spring break i enjoyed this project a lot! There is so much you can do to a building to make it GREEN. I enjoy learning about LEED and would like to actually become LEED certified some day. I really believe this can help out our economy. i feel that as Architects of the future, we should be all leaning towards this way. We already have noticed changes in the earth do to all the polluting and global warming going on.
